Pettyfer in 'Mummy 3' after all?

A while back we posted a rumour that Alex may be joining the cast of The Mummy 3 in the role of Alex O'connell. While this was proved wrong (Luke Ford was officially cast as Brendan Fraser's much older son), rumours are again appearing that Alex will be involved in the film afterall.

Website Bloody-Disgusting.Com 'scooped' last friday from film company Universal that Pettyfer, John Hannah, Anthony Wong and Isabella Leong will be taking part in The Mummy 3: Curse of the Dragon. The film is said to start production this november in China and Montreal.

Alex probably won't be playing the 'kid' role (ideas suggested of his role include a flashback sequence to a younger age) but alongside the official announcement of Alex's part in 'Wild Child' we have doubts of this rumour, considering that the filming of 'The Mummy' will shortly follow 'Wild Child'.

Congratulations though, Alex, keep the work coming in!

The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor news

Bloody-Disgusting was scooped this afternoon that Alex Pettyfer (Wild Child), John Hannah (The Mummy), Anthony Wong (Matrix Reloaded, Matrix Revolutions) and Isabella Leong (The Eye 10) will round out the cast for Universal Pictures' The Mummy 3: Curse of the Dragon.
They join Luke Ford, Brendan Fraser, Jet Li, Michelle Yeoh and Maria Bello in the film, which is now in production through November in Montreal and China. It is known that the action is set in China, with Li's story beginning in ancient times before moving to a post-World War II setting. It is also known that one sequence involves the famous terra-cotta warriors, the collection of 6,000 men and their horses that were originally constructed to protect the tomb of an emperor.

ну тут вроде говориться о том,что он будет сниматься в "мумии-3",но и в wild child он тоже будет сниматься))))так что, сразу 2 фильма за 2008 год с алексом!))неужели))))
